1 No Data Collection & Zero Access
We do not collect, transmit, view, or store your personal or financial data.
Saveplan is architected with a "Zero Access" philosophy. Unlike most financial apps, we do not have servers, we do not have a database of user records, and we do not have an "admin panel" that allows us to see who our users are or what they are planning.
Technical Impossibility of Access
Because Saveplan operates entirely offline without a backend cloud server, it is technically impossible for us to access your data even if we wanted to. Your financial inputs exist solely on your device's physical storage chip and are never transmitted to us.
We do not require you to create an account, sign in via email, or link your bank accounts. We do not know your net worth, your salary, or your savings goals.
2 Where Your Data Lives
All information you input into the Saveplan simulator (income, expenses, assets, liabilities) is stored locally on your iOS device using Apple's secure storage mechanisms (UserDefaults and CoreData).
- Local Storage: Data remains in the app's "sandbox" on your phone.
- Deleterious Actions: If you delete the Saveplan app from your phone, your data is permanently deleted. We cannot recover it for you because we never had it.
- iCloud Backups: If you have iCloud Backup enabled for your device, your device (including Saveplan's local data) may be backed up to Apple's iCloud. This is managed entirely by your Apple ID and is not accessible to us.
3 Third-Party Sharing & Analytics
Since we do not collect data, we have nothing to share with third parties.
